To talk to a child care specialist, contact the Colorado Child Care Resource and Referral Network: Call 877-338- 2273. A Child Care Referral Specialist will be available from Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide you with a list of licensed child care options in your area, and consumer education about how to recognize and select quality care. Colorado Shines – Is our state quality rating and improvement system for early care and education programs. Colorado Shines assigns a quality rating to licensed child care centers similar to rating systems for other service-related industries like hotels and restaurants.
